Escape to the Cotswolds

Holiday cottage rental with EV charger in the beautiful Cotswolds

Not for nothing is the Cotswolds famous for its rolling countryside, honey-coloured stone buildings and cosy pubs nestling in quaint, unspoilt villages.

Located in the north Cotswolds, Bury Fields Cottage and Gable View Cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water and Teasel Cottage in Winchcombe provide the ideal escape, with easy access to the glorious Cotswolds landscape, fantastic walking, cosy pubs and beautiful towns and villages and the added bonus of access to an EV charger.

The spectacular view over rolling countryside or the sunrise in the morning from the upstairs sitting room at Gable View Cottage is one of the best in Bourton on the Water. Gable View is surrounded by fields yet only a short easy walk from the village.  This unique and spacious upside down one bedroom bolthole is perfect for a relaxing or romantic stay with lots of walks on the doorstep, a wide variety of places to eat, sightseeing and friendly pubs.

Gable View is close to Bury Fields, so for larger groups the two can be rented together.

Teasel Cottage is a comfortable Grade 2 listed cottage dating back to the early 1800’s in the beautiful, unspoilt medieval town of Winchcombe, 8 miles north of Cheltenham. Teasel Cottage has three comfortable bedrooms, sleeps 5 and dogs are welcome.

With its narrow streets and many half-timbered buildings, Winchcombe is a hidden jewel in the crown of the Cotswolds, with a wide range of independent shops in addition to a great selection of historic pubs and restaurants. For walkers, not for nothing is the town known as the ‘Walking capital of the Cotswolds’, while on the edge of the town is Sudeley Castle – the final home and resting place of Catherine Parr, Henry VIII’s 6th wife.
